The so-called Ziyarah of Rajab (Ziyarah Rajabiyyah, Arabic: الزیارة الرجبیة) is one of the most famous and mainstream Shia prayers (one of the many concoctions attributed to the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them) recommended to be recited in the month of Rajab in religious sites, specifically the shrines of the ‘infallible Imams’.
The Shia are encouraged by their scholars to frequent shrines and recite the Ziyarah (pilgrimage) of Rajab:
“Visit religious sites in Rajab and recite this (i.e. The Ziyara of Rajab) supplication upon entrance (i.e. of the shrine).” (Tusi, Misbah al-Mutahajjid, p. 821)
Muhammad Mashhadi (counted among the grand hadith masters in Imamism) wrote:
“It is recommended to recite this supplication when visiting the holy shrine of Imam Ali (a) on the eve of Mab’ath or upon visiting other Imams (a) in the month of Rajab.” (Ibn al-Mashhadi, al-Mazar al-Kabir, p. 203)
Muhammad Baqir Majlisi, the kafir bil-Qur’an i.e. disbeliever in the Qur’an (who happens to be one of the greatest scholars of Islam according to the Twelver Imamite Shia!), mentions this ziyarah (pilgrimage) prayer in his Bihar al-Anwar, however, the oldest reference which has mentioned this ziyarah is Misbah al-Mutahajjid written by Muhammad Tusi (known as the chief or head of the Shia sect) who claimed that none other than the ‘hidden Mahdi’ issued and sanctified (how convenient…) the Ziyarah of Rajab supplication:
Here Tusi claims that the ‘holy signature’ of the Shia Mahdi (!) was conveyed to Abu Ja’far Muhammad ibn ‘Uthman (the so-called second of the Four Deputies, who are believed by the Twelvers to have represented the hidden Shia Mahdi during his ‘Minor Occultation’ in which they collected money in his name!) regarding the Ziyarah, supplication, of Rajab which he claims one should recite every day of the month of Rajab. He then cites the kufr prayer:
“There is no difference between You (i.e. Allah) and them (i.e. Ahl al-Bayt) except that they are Your servants.” (Tusi, Misbah al-Mutahajji)
No two Muslims would doubt that the statement above is kufr and goes against the essence of Islam which is Tawhid. However, the Twelver Shia vehemently insist on the correctness of supplication and even try to justify it with all sorts of mental gymnastics.
The truth is not complicated
If there is no difference between the Imams/Ahl al-Bayt and Allah except that the latter is uncreated, it still means that the Ahl al-Bayt have all the attributes of Allah except one, namely that they are created beings. That is why one can observe the Twelver Shia directly invoking (praying to i.e. worship) their Imams (just like how Catholic directly invoke their saints) at any place and any time, attributing the knowledge of the unseen to them and absolute disposal (al-Tasarruf al-Mutlaq) over ever single atom that exists. The Imamites have inevitably turned their saints, Imams, into omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient demigods besides Allah who are All-hearing, All-Seeing, All-Knowing, and more. There is not the slightest doubt that this is outright Shirk and, as usual, one verse of the Qur’an suffices to debunk Rafidism and their fabrications:
“Nothing is similar to Allah in any way and He is attributed with Hearing and Sight.” (Qur’an, 42:11)
Just When You Think It Can’t Get Any Worse
Khomeini, the founder of the ‘Islamic Republic of Iran’, stated in one of his lessons that apart from the fact that the Imams are created, there is no difference between them and Allah. In fact, he unequivocally stated that all divine power of Allah (جميع القوى الإلهية) is shared by the ‘infallible Imams’/Ahl al-Bayt:
“Imam Khomeini, may He bless him, cared much about the meaning of this ziyarah [Rajabiyyah], this is because its content lies at the heart of his vision regarding the lofty position of the Prophet and the Ahl al-Bayt, peace and blessings be upon him and them. So he talked about it repeatedly and with special use of language. Some of what he, may He bless him, said about it: “Read this Ziyarah of Rajab which sheds light on the exalted status of the Imams, peace be upon them, through the following passage, “There is no difference between You (i.e. Allah) and them (i.e. Ahl al-Bayt) except that they are Your servants,” i.e. them (i.e. Ahl al-Bayt) being Your (i.e. Allah’s) servants is the only difference.”
The Imam (i.e. Khomeini) used to emphasise this paragraph: “Them (i.e. Ahl al-Bayt) being Allah’s servants is the only difference between them and between Allah The Most High. That means, all divine power (جميع القوى الإلهية) are in the hands of the Imams, peace be upon them.” Then he (i.e. Khomeini) used to say after that: “Read this Ziyarah (of Rajab) lest you deny what is conveyed to you of the lofty postition of the saints (i.e. Imams) of Allah, or at least accept it as a mere possibility.” (Official online presence of The Islamic Centre of Beirut, Shaykh Hussain al-Kurani, Lebanese Shiite cleric, one of the founders of Hezbollah in Lebanon).”
Finally: Let us ponder
Let us Imagine for a moment that someone claims to be upon Islam whilst uttering the following kufr: “There is no difference between God and the angels and the Sahabah except that the latter are created!” Would there be any excuse for such blatant kufr? No sophistry would save anybody when it comes to such unequivocal kufr and ghuluw.
Using kufr fabrications such as the Ziyarah of Rajab, the extremists, the Ghulat, who to this day masquerade as the ‘followers of Ahl al-Bayt’, paved the way for ghuluw and shirk in the name of Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, who would no doubt declare themselves free and innocent of their polytheistic pseudo-Shia. In fact, they would severely curse them for all the lies they attributed to them.
