The Rafidah Shia have lied one on the Imams of Aal (progeny) of Muhammad (عليهم السلام) from day one.Scan:
Abu Hanifah said: “May Allah rectify your affairs. We have a group of people in Kufah who claim that you order them to disassociate themselves from so and so (Abu Bakr, ‘Umar and ‘Uthman). So he (Jafar al-Sadiq) said: “Woe to you, O Abu Hanifah! This did not happen! I seek refuge in Allah”. So he (Abu Hanifah) said: “May Allah rectify your affairs, they make a big deal out of them two (Abu Baker and ‘Omar).” He (Abu Hanifah) said: “What do you order me to do?”. He (Jafar al-Sadiq) said: “Write to them”. He (Abu Hanifah) said: “What [shall I write]?”. He (Jafar al-Sadiq) said: “Ask them to withhold from speaking about the two (Abu Bakr and ‘Umar)!”. He (Jafar al-Sadiq) said: “They don’t obey me.”Reference: ‘Ilal al-Sharai’, vol. 1, page: 94. by Ibn Babawayh al-Qummi.
Notice: This is an early Shia source and many similar sahih narrations can be found in the early books of Ahlus-Sunnah where the likes of Imam al-Sadiq and his father (al-Baqir) declare themselves free of the Rafidah Shia and their attribution to them. They refuted the lie of the extremist Shi’ites (like the Twelvers) who claim that the Ahlul-Bayt used to disassociate themselves from the Sahabah, particularly from the Shaykhayn (Abu Bakr and Umar), and instead praised Abu Bakr and Umar. The Shia answer to this bitter (for them) reality: The Ahlul-Bayt/Imams were doing Taqiyyah! Everything they will spin and twist with the Taqiyyah excuse.
